ABOUT US / Our Modular Construction

We construct more than just restrooms.

Start With A Restroom.
Add On Just About Anything.

Because of Public Restroom Company’s commitment to quality modular construction, you can purchase a restroom facility and add on a concession stand, a scorekeeper’s booth, a family restroom, changing rooms, showers, laundry rooms, meeting rooms, storage space, a garage, a maintenance room, utility space for site-lighting, and much more. In fact, our largest building to date was more than 1,500 sq. ft., two stories, constructed in six (6) modules, and is a testament to the vision of the community it serves.

With our modular construction process, we identify the elements you need for your public space. Then our staff of architects and designers configure your project to combine all the different elements you need into one successful, site-specific design. We keep you apprised every step of the way; We invite you to visit both the factory during construction and the site during installation so you can watch it all come together as designed.

Our Modular Permit Process

Once we receive a contract for a project, PRC designers will complete the engineered drawings and send them to the state for review. Since the buildings are of modular construction, designs are approved at the state level. The state reviews the construction plans, structural calculations, and third party inspection reports.

Once drawings are approved and calculations return from the state, we issue an approved plan to the project owner/general contractor who will submit the plans locally for permitting.

The only local permit needed is for the underground work that our field crew will complete on-site. This includes bringing the water, sewer, and electric from the six foot point-of-connection (POC) into the buildings utility chase.  Final connections are to be completed by the general contractor.
