Meet The Professionals From Public Restroom Company. Or, As Our Friends Call Us, The Potty People.

Public Restroom Company is a family-owned and operated small business whose people have a passion for producing state-of-the-art public restrooms and related buildings. Founded by industry pioneer, Chuck Kaufman, Public Restroom Company leads by constantly researching and designing better materials for restroom design, building, and installation practices.

What makes the company special, though, is the deeply knowledgeable and customer-service oriented team of individuals in sales, project management, design, engineering, building, and installation. When you contact the Public Restroom Company, you are assigned a dedicated project manager who will interview you to determine your needs, design a building that fits perfectly, provides you with a preliminary cost estimate, guides you through the entire process, and supports you as the project is installed. It's this level of personal attention that allows us to offer a Five Year Guarantee, and it's why clients say that the product was more than they expected.

Key Potty People.

Chuck Kaufman
Since l973, Chuck has envisioned that public park restrooms could be designed with standardized floor plans and flexible exterior architecture that would meet any community's needs. During the last 40 years he has pioneered in continual innovation to solve client vandal, maintenance, and safety problems. The national design data base he has assembled creates a standard for materials, product, and design performance based upon actual experience unmatched by any other firm. Architects, landscape architects, and park planning staff utilize this data base to provide parks with effective, properly sized, super clean and architecturally pleasing designs that span most applications. From Alcatraz to the Grand Canyon, from Yosemite to Florida hundreds of millions of dollars of unique answers to clients needs have been built and installed. He drives his staff to excel to the fullest, meeting client schedules and complying with accessibility nationwide. He was key in challenging the proportion of men's and women's fixture counts to decrease lines by improving female access. On the lighter side, like a younger Facebook pioneer CEO, he provides a homelike environment in our corporate offices with a well stocked daily kitchen, imported Italian coffee center, and the latest in computer programs and equipment for his staff. He believes in our mission to design and build "Better Places to go!"

Carl and his wife, Denise, have two daughters, a son-in-law and a grand-daughter. They are empty nesters and enjoy doing whatever the heck they want – visiting family, movies, golf, wine tours, etc.
