To change the common perception that “restrooms always smell,” we have engineered proprietary concrete technology into our restroom buildings to address that problem. Using imported concrete additives and temperature controlled factories, we have developed a building system that allows us to warrant our restrooms will never smell.

Interested in a different floor surface than concrete? We can tile on top of the concrete slab and CMU precision walls. Or, we can finish the floor with an epoxy coating that is easy to clean and provides a high-performance, smooth, and durable surface that can last many years and withstand heavy loads.

Fixture Selection

We offer two (2) types of restroom fixtures (sinks, toilets, and urinals) when designing your building, stainless steel and vitreous china. The fixtures you select should be determined by the level of vandalism you might expect for your building’s location. Stainless Steel is the PRC standard due to the fact most all the buildings we build are open to the general public.

Stainless Steel is the premier choice when it comes to vandal resistant fixtures, because it is thicker and heavier. Public Restroom Company’s stainless steel fixtures are prison grade, 316 type, 14 gauge (thickness) which is superior to most all other competitor’s products. Some other benefits of stainless steel are: it does not fade, highly durable, easy to clean, and proven to be extremely hygienic, and will not dent or rust.

Regardless of finish, all of our flush toilets and urinals are wall mounted with the plumbing located in the utility chase so all connection points are concealed and protected. Wall mounted fixtures also allow for easy cleaning underneath and adjustable mounting heights for ADA compliancy.

Utility Chase Connection Points

If you are looking for something other than stainless steel and don’t expect high-levels of vandalism, our vitreous china fixtures could be a great option. Vitreous China is an enamel coating that is applied to the porcelain after the firing process, that makes it tougher, denser, and shinier.

There are two (2) options of flush systems available for your toilets and urinals, choose whichever system best suits your building’s needs and compliancy measures. Our standard, heavy-duty flush valve has an anti-microbial finish to help kill bacteria on contact and features a no leak handle.

Public Restroom Company buildings are all designed with a spacious, center utility chase that allows maintenance staff easy access to plumbing and electrical components in the building. This space also houses other added on components, such as the soap tank for our wall-through soap dispenser and the motor for the vandal resistant fastaire hand dryer. The turnkey building is delivered to the site fully finished will all plumbing and electrical ready to be hooked up. The utility point of connections (POC) are stubbed out six (6) feet from the building and fiinal connections are completed by others.

We install a standard 100 AMP electrical panel with each building. Some buildings will require up to 200 AMP’s if additional areas are added to the restroom. For example, a concession module that will be used to warm and serve food items.

For those sites that desire additional electrical panels to be installed, please coordinate with our project managers to allow for easy installation of these additional panels once the building is delivered and installed.
