PRC wins at 2024 MBI Awards of Distinction

Public Restroom Company took home first place honors at the 2024 Modular Building Institute (MBI) Awards of Distinction for the Willow Grove Park Restrooms & Concession building in the Permanent Modular Special Application category. The Modular Building Institute (MBI) Awards of Distinction represent the highest honors awarded in the modular building industry; where winners are chosen by an independent panel of industry experts.

Installed in July 2022, the Willow Grove Park project is comprised of three (3) mods to create a multi-functional building that includes (4) single-occupant restrooms, a Level 2 Concession, and large storage area with garage door access. This custom design featured a mixture of exterior finishes and a butterfly roof to create a distinct and unique look. The combination of dark brick and a brighter natural CMU block exterior with anti-graffiti coating, and stucco like finish above the cap beam gave the overall building a modern, yet natural look to match the mountainside in the backdrop. Designed by PRC and engineering completed by ICC NTA, this project is an excellent example of how modular construction allows a simple restroom to easily become so much more.
